Mehlville School Board Expected To Vote On Tax Increase Tonight

The Mehlville School Board is expected to vote this evening on whether to place a 50 cent tax increase on the November ballot.

The money is needed to offset nearly $4 million dollars which were cut from the budget this year.

Tonight’s meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Mehlville High School library.

The Mehlville School Board heard a presentation from Superintendent Chris Gaines on Thursday about two proposed ballot measures, including one for a tax hike this fall.
