The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that the St. Louis County prosecuting attorney has dropped charges against Kevin S. Tate in connection with allegations that he took money from the Oakville High School soccer teams booster club account. The article states:
The St. Louis County prosecuting attorney has dropped charges against a parent accused of taking from a soccer booster club.
In September, Kevin S. Tate was charged in connection with allegations that he wrote $11,475 in checks to himself from the Oakville High School soccer team’s booster club account. Those charges have been dropped because there was insufficient documentation to prove intent, according to a spokesman for the prosecuting attorney.
Tate did, however, pay $3,564 in restitution.
